Shawna was born and raised in Sagle, Idaho with her parents Wayne and Vicki Benner. Shawna graduated from Sandpoint High School in 1995. After High School she went on to get a bachelor’s degree in biology at the University of Idaho. This was followed by her Master’s in Physical Therapy at Eastern Washington University.  She returned to Sandpoint, where she married Todd Erickson and together they have a wonderful family of four legged, furry kids.  Since graduation Shawna's primary focus in therapy has been outpatient orthopedic rehab. She helped Dr. John Faggard start Lake Country PT in 2005 and worked directly with him until 2017 when she took over as owner. Today the clinic is still going strong, treating a wide variety of patients from Sandpoint and surrounding areas.
